Goodyear is about 18 to 20 miles west of Phoenix, roughly 25 minutes straight out Interstate 10, and its city code sets a plain 72 hour limit on parking an RV in a residential area.

It is worth correcting a common assumption first. Estrella Mountain Regional Park has a Goodyear address and a full trail network, but there is no campground there open to the general public, only occasional volunteer host sites, and the county has not published operational details for any new build. The park was also storm damaged in August 2026, so check the county alerts before visiting.
Destiny RV Resort: 416 North Citrus Road, on the western edge of the city. The resort publishes 20, 30 and 50 amp service on every site, which most parks in this market do not publish at all. No maximum length is published, and no age statement appears either way on its own pages, so confirm the age policy and the length on 623 853 0537.
Cotton Lane RV Resort: 17506 West Van Buren Street. It describes itself on its own site as a 55 and older resort community, which rules it out for anyone travelling with children. Neither hookup detail nor a maximum length is published. Telephone 623 853 4000.
White Tank Mountain Regional Park: 20304 West White Tank Mountain Road at Waddell, north of Goodyear. 40 pitches with water and electric and a published limit of RVs up to 45 feet, plus the Willow campground capped at 16 feet with no hookups. The trailhead staging area is closed from 13 April to 30 September 2026.
Confirm current availability, amperage and pitch length directly with each park before you travel.

Goodyear is a spring training town with a very large desert park on its southern side. Only three attractions inside Goodyear could be verified against first party sources, so rather than pad the list with unchecked entries, the last two below are nearby places clearly labelled with the town they are in.

Goodyear is a straight run west on Interstate 10 with no awkward turns, which makes it one of the easier destinations to take a large unit to. Our RVs are based in Phoenix and the range runs from 145 to 440 dollars a night. The fleet covers Class C and Super C motorhomes, a Class A motorhome and a large bunkhouse travel trailer, sleeping from five up to ten. Destiny RV Resort publishes 20, 30 and 50 amp service at every site, so the shore power side of the decision is settled there in a way it is not at most parks here. Tell us your dates and we will confirm which units are free. View available RVs or Contact the AZ RV Rentals team.
