RV Rentals in Mesa, Arizona

Mesa lies about 18 to 19 miles east of Phoenix, close to half an hour on Loop 202, and it holds the East Valley's one county campground with hookups that takes all ages.

Where an RV can stay in Mesa

Mesa has a great deal of RV parking, and every large private resort checked for this page states a 55 and older policy, which changes the shortlist entirely.

Mesa Regal, Val Vista Village, Towerpoint, Monte Vista, Apache Wells and Good Life all state a 55 and older policy on their own websites, so a group travelling with children cannot book them.

Usery Mountain Regional Park: 3939 North Usery Pass Road, in the northeastern corner of the city against the Usery range. 73 pitches with water and electric at each, and the county publishes a limit of RVs up to 45 feet, which covers everything in this fleet. The amperage is not published. A fire ban runs from 1 May to 30 September, and gates open 5am to 9pm in summer and 6am to 8pm in winter. Telephone 602 506 2930.

Lost Dutchman State Park: East of Mesa at Apache Junction under the Superstition Mountains. 135 pitches plus three group areas, with 68 sites carrying 50, 30 and 20 amp electric and water, and the park states there are no size restrictions on RVs. Stays are capped at 14 nights in any 30 days and generator hours are 8am to 10am and 5pm to 7pm. Book on 1 877 MY PARKS.

Campground USA RV Resort: 2851 South Tomahawk Road at Apache Junction, and a commercial park that describes itself in its own words as an all ages RV park. It lists 129 full hookup pitches and says they are big rig friendly, though no maximum length figure is published. Telephone 480 877 8880.

Confirm current availability, amperage and pitch length directly with each park before you travel.

What you are renting for a Mesa trip

Our RVs are based in Phoenix and the range runs from 145 to 440 dollars a night. For Mesa the practical question is size, because the pitch you can book is set by the campground rather than by us. Usery Mountain publishes a 45 foot limit that comfortably takes the largest unit here, and Lost Dutchman State Park says it applies no size restrictions at all. The Super C motorhome is the biggest thing in the fleet at 39 feet and sleeps ten, while the Class C is a far easier drive for anyone who has not handled a large rig before. Tell us your dates and party size and we will say which units are free. View available RVs or Contact the AZ RV Rentals team.
