Peoria sits roughly 14 miles northwest of Phoenix, about 24 minutes on Grand Avenue, and it is one of the few cities here with a large all ages resort inside it.

That matters more than it sounds. Across the Valley the big private resorts are overwhelmingly age restricted, so a park that states the opposite is worth booking early, particularly through the winter season.
Pleasant Harbor RV Resort: 8708 West Harbor Boulevard on the Lake Pleasant waterfront. It lists 253 full hookup pitches plus 60 with partial hookups and further dry camping, and it explicitly welcomes guests under 55, which is rare here. Neither amperage nor a maximum length is published, so telephone 623 235 6140.
Lake Pleasant Regional Park: 41835 North Castle Hot Springs Road at Morristown, the county park on the same lake. 148 developed and semi developed pitches across three campgrounds, the largest being Desert Tortoise with 74 and Roadrunner with 71, with water and electric at the developed sites. Neither amperage nor a maximum length is published, and the Castle Creek boat ramp closes on 3 October 2026.
White Tank Mountain Regional Park: 20304 West White Tank Mountain Road at Waddell, southwest of Peoria. 40 pitches with water and electric and a published limit of RVs up to 45 feet, with a separate Willow campground capped at 16 feet and no hookups there. The trailhead staging area is closed from 13 April to 30 September 2026.
Confirm current availability, amperage and pitch length directly with each park before you travel.

Peoria is a lake city as much as a suburb, and most of a good visit happens either on the water north of town or around the spring training complex. Note that the sports complex publishes a parking restriction that catches people out.

Peoria is the one city on this list with a large all ages resort inside it, which makes the pitch easier to settle than the size of the unit. Neither Pleasant Harbor nor Lake Pleasant Regional Park publishes a maximum length, so ring with your figure before you count on a space. Our RVs are based in Phoenix and the range runs from 145 to 440 dollars a night. The Super C sleeps ten in 39 feet, the Class A is the most settled of them for a longer stay, and the large bunkhouse travel trailer is the cheapest way to get eight berths onto a waterside pitch if you have a tow vehicle. Ask us what is free on your dates and we will send the current rates. View available RVs or Contact the AZ RV Rentals team.
