Race weekends are the bookings where we most often have to give renters news they did not want. Everyone asks for a lot with hookups, and Ridgeline is the only one the track has. It sells season-long, it carries no sewer even so, and it is sold out at present. That leaves Dunes South, Dunes North, Trails and Flats, all dirt and all dry, which is why race-weekend units go out from us with full fresh water. Two Weekends, Both Worth It
The track runs two NASCAR weekends in 2027. March 12 to 14 pairs the Cup race with an NTT INDYCAR Series doubleheader on the Saturday, and October 22 to 24 brings the Freeway Insurance 500, a playoff race the track calls one of the most consequential weekends of the year. Note that the championship finale now runs at Homestead-Miami, not here.
Tank Capacity Is the Deciding Factor
The track is 18.9 miles from Phoenix, roughly 32 minutes. Dunes South, Dunes North, Trails and Flats are all dirt lots with no hookups; Ridgeline is the only one with water and electric and it sells season-long only and is currently sold out. What Camping at the Track Actually Involves
The track publishes its lot specifications plainly, and they decide which rig works:
- Dunes South, Dunes North and Trails are 25 by 50 feet on dirt, all dry
- Flats is the tightest at 20 by 40 feet, a mix of dirt and paved, also dry
- Ridgeline carries water and electric but no sewer, is sold season-long only and is presently sold out
- Quiet hours run midnight to 6am, and generators and speakers must be off during them
- One camping unit and one tow vehicle per reserved space, and RVs must exit by noon after the final day of racing
Campfires on open ground are prohibited and no stake longer than six inches may go into the ground.
Right Size for the Lot
Matching a Unit to the Lot You Bought
Buy the lot first, then pick the rig, because a 20 by 40 space in Flats and a 26 by 60 space in Ridgeline are different problems. With four of the five lots dry, fresh water capacity and battery reserve matter more than square footage.

Our Class C motorhomes at $306 to $406 fit comfortably inside a 25 by 50 site with the tow vehicle, and a Super C motorhome gives you more tank on the same footprint.
